Open Water Diver Course

Description:

Throughout the course, you will learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques, and dive planning.

You will complete 5 knowledge reviews and quizzes, a 50 question test, swim test, confined water training, and 4 open water dives.

Time Required:

The full course can take a little as three days to complete.

Prerequisites:

Virtually anyone who is age 10 or older, in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. Please see the Medical Statement for health questions.

Sample Schedule:

Day 1:
Morning - Confined Water Training
Midday - Open Water Dive 1
Afternoon - Knowledge Development sections 1-3

Day 2:
Morning - Confined Water Training
Midday - Open Water Dive 2
Afternoon - Knowledge Development sections 4-5

Day 3:
Morning - Final Exam, Confined Water Training (as needed)
Afternoon - Open Water Dives 3-4

Program Options:

You can use credit earned during your PADI Discover SCUBA (Diving) or your PADI Scuba Diver certification toward toward portions of this course. (Rate change may apply.)

$384.00 + HI state tax

Price Includes:

Book, RDP-Table, all rental equipment,Open Water Dives from boat.

What you should bring:

Towel, sun-screen, and a little spending money for lunch and other items you may wish to purchase.
