Emergency First Response Course
Description:

Emergency First Response is an innovative CPR/first aid program. Primary Care (CPR) prepares you to render aid to those with life-threatening emergencies. Secondary Care (first aid) builds upon the lessons of Primary Care and helps you assist those in need when Emergency Medical Services are either delayed or unavailable.

Primary Care (CPR) skills:

Primary Assessment
Rescue Breathing
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Serious bleeding management
Shock management
Spinal injury management
Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Secondary Care (first aid) skills:
Injury Assessment
Illness Assessment
Bandaging
Splinting for Dislocations and Fractures

Time Required:

You can complete this course in a single day.

Prerequisites:

Virtually anyone who is any age with a desire to learn and in good health, can participate. Please see the Medical Statement for health questions.

Program Options:

Upgrade to Deluxe Manual with an embroidered zipper binder and includes a first aid pack (including a barrier kit, bandages, ointments, gloves and more) and an Emergency First Response decal.

$200 + HI state tax

Basic Participant Manual, gloves, and breathing barrier.
